GPOYF (netbook webcam edition) Man, is my netbook webcam better, the same or worse as my other one? I can’t tell. It seems better, but I’m high on this tiny machine (which is currently running an Open Source OS because the Windows 7 Starter is a goddamn abortion, gonna run dban on this motherfucker this weekend and scrub these sectors clean before a coreboot into Ubuntu).

GrainyPOYSunday!  I wanted to take midnight bongload pix, but my netbook webcam’s inability to take photos in dark conditions just had graininess overtaking all smoke, so you can’t really see smoke coming out of my mouth in any shot. I deleted all save this one, because my eyes in this one make me lol.

Leni took this picture right after I got back from Montreal, where I’d been staying, showerless, in a crust punk domicile in Saint-Henri for almost a week. Also slept outdoors/under overpasses waiting for trains to hop, but ultimately ended up hitching both there and back. Next time I’ll hunker down for trains with more food and distracting books/lights to read them by. The filth, but no fury. Saw Marri at various stages of hygiene decay over the course of that weekend, and had a wonderful time all around. Excellent hardcore and punk shows, excellent folk punk hootenanies, excellent student protest manifestations, just excellence all around. Made some good friends too!
