i jumped today in the supermarket when the cashier and the couple ahead of me started arguing over whether a bag of assorted chickens’ parts had been paid for, and in so doing split the bag, causing said parts to scuttle out across the metal bagging area. it was the only thing they were being casual about, and it was totally horrifying on two major levels.
